Safety is an essential benchmark for innovative technology. Our brominated flame retardants provide reliable and robust 360-degree protection, while exhibiting excellent stability in thermal processes and end-uses, even under harsh conditions. Our new generation of polymers and reactive flame retardants are environmentally safe for daily use.
We work together with our customers to meet their needs and optimize their applications. Rather than using a broad-brush approach, we conduct a rigorous evaluation of flame retardants for specific industry applications. Utilizing our SAFR® framework, we are able to assess the right flame retardant for specific requirements, from the initial stages of product design.
Prioritizing the health of our planet, we are dedicated to developing flame retardants that are more sustainable and aligned with low-carbon economy standards. This is manifested in bromine with a significantly lower carbon footprint than other alternatives, advanced recycling methods that recover bromine and incorporate them into flame retardants, and research that advances material recycling and circular economy practices.
